Kylie's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop
Hello and welcome again to my blog; for my second post today I am going to share with you the card that I designed for Kylie's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop. I used some fun new products for you on this card and it couldn't have been more simple and quick. I used the new Bird Ballad Laser-cut card which comes in a nice pretty little tin. These cards are so much better than the laser cut paper we've had in the past in my opinion. I didn't have to try and cut the delicate laser paper into something that I could use on my card. Don't get me wrong I loved the laser-cut paper but to me it was so hard to work with. These new laser-cut cards made it super easy no detailed cutting trying to get just the right piece. I just added a few little elements and it was done. Here's a look at my card.
Next I stamped the sentiment on a piece of Pool Party cardstock that I die cut with the Stitched Nested Label dies; I used one of the smaller ones. In between the two stitched circles I sandwiched the front of the laser cut card and a little of the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper. I popped that up on a couple Stampin' Dimensionals over some braided linen ribbon. I placed two of the Bird Ballad Trinkets on the front of the card and a little of the Mossy Meadow linen thread tied into a bow.
By layering the die cuts I could hide the adhesive from the front and that allowed my card not to glue itself shut. Plus it allowed a place that I could either write or stamp a small sentiment on the inside of the card and it wouldn't get in the way of all that lovely laser-die cutting.

My Free As A Bird In Color Card
Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you the card that I made to send out in my Catalog packages, for all my customers that shopped with me in the last six months. I wanted to use the new In Colors and wanted to use a fresh summery stamp set. Free as A Bird fit the bill as a fun summery new stamp set that would be fun to use. Here's a look at my card.
Free As A Bird and the products in the Bird Ballad Suite are my featured products this week and you will be seeing a lot of different projects with them this week. I have tried to showcase all the products for you to see just how wonderful they are. I know it's hard to see that in the catalog sometimes but Stampin' Up! has done a great job this year with the new catalog layout and how things are arranged and shown. If you are interested in the new In Colors and want to have them all but can not get them all at one time, why not join my In Color Club, where you can collect them all over the next five months. You can read more about that here.
The Free As a Bird Stamp Set has some super fun images that can be used not just the summer months, they actually can be used all year long. I love the mixed fonts that Stampin' Up! used in the stamp set for the sentiments. Some of the sentiment is a little more bold than the other part of it which makes for a nice little change in appearance on your projects. The line art images are perfect for your favorite coloring media. I chose to just stamp this bird image on all my cards and not color them. But I did color them on other projects that I have done with this set. For this month's Creative Stampers Tutorial Bundles the design team decided to focus on this suite of projects. And let me just say that there are some very cute and fun projects in this month's bundle. I am so impressed each month with the creativity they come up with. You can get the tutorial bundle two different ways. You can either earn it free with a purchase (using the monthly host code) or you can purchase the tutorial bundle for $20 USD from me.
If you are interested in any of these products you can find them below in the Stampin' Up! shopping list. Thanks for dropping by today, I hope that you have a wonderful day and I will see you again soon.
