Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share a few alternative projects using the May 2019 Paper Pumpkin kit Hugs from Shelli. I am super excited to play with this kit which was designed with Shelli Gardner Stampin' Up!'s Co-Fonder. This was a super fun kit to play with and I may have been a little over zealous with my alternatives this month. So let's jump into them right now.
So for my projects this month I created not one card but five different designs and did two of each design plus created a large gift box that would hold all ten card, envelopes and with a little room for more. This was super fun today. I kept my cards on the simple side. I used five pieces of cardstock to create each card plus the note cards that came in this month's kit. I did throw in a couple scraps of whisper white cardstock to finish off my sentiments. Here's a look at my cards.
,For two of the card designs I had to cut the note cards in half to have enough to make all 10 cards. So once I had these all made I needed someplace to put them so I created a large gift box that will hold all 10 cards plus envelopes for each. This makes for a super quick and easy gift. Here's my gift box.
I used a couple pieces of cardstock to make the box and a little designer series paper. The designer Series paper you see comes from the Bird Ballard Designer Series Paper Stack (new in the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog). From this month's kit I used some of the die cut elements and the Pretty Peacock Velvet ribbon. This box is super easy to make as you will see in my video tutorial.

I have decided to do a ribbon share again this year, and today I am announcing it. Below you will find the details!
Shares are a great way to get a lot of new products to try in smaller proportions and at a smaller cost. This is why I do ribbon and paper shares for you. I like to be able to save you guys as much as possible. I am not going to lie these are a lot of work, and I usually have to hire a friend or family to help me get them all together with all the cutting and packaging it takes a few days and lots of hours to pull these off for you. But, its totally worth it to me to help you save a little money on these items.
Here's what's included in this years ribbon share.
Ribbon Share: Cost: $29.00 plus $8.00 shipping Includes:
Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack
1 yard Mossy Meadow Linen Thread
1 yard Linen Ribbon
Mint Macaron 1/4" Textile Ribbon (2 Yards)
Very Vanilla 3/8" Scalloped Lace Trim (2 Yards)
Petal Pink 5/8" Organdy Stripped Ribbon (2 Yards)
Sahara Sand 5/8" Woven Thread Trim (1 Yard)
Rococo Rose 1/2" Gathered Ribbon (2 yards)
Old Olive/Petal Peacock 3/8" Reversible Ribbon (2 yards)
Pretty Peacock Scalloped Linen Ribbon (2 Yards)
Purple Posy Scalloped Linen Ribbon (2 Yards)
Rococo Rose Scalloped Linen Ribbon (2 yards)
Seaside Spray Scalloped Linen Ribbon (2 Yards)
Terracotta Tile Scalloped Linen Ribbon (2 Yards)
Denim Ribbon 3/8" (2 yards)
Crinkled Seam Binding 3/8" (2 yards)
3/8" Tricolor Ribbon (2 Yards)
That's 29 yards of Brand NEW different ribbon to try for only $29.00. Which is about a fourth of what it would cost to order all the these ribbons at one time. I break my ribbon shares into groups of fives so the first five people that sign up are group one, then the next five will be group two so on and so fourth. Just to know that I will not order group 1 shares until it is completely full same thing with each group. Each group has to be full before I will order everything.
Due to Stampin' Up! policy I can not have all the supplies on hand and have to order them once everyone has signed up and paid. So it usually takes about a week after I order for me to get everything back to me then cut it and repackage it to get it ready to send out to you, sometimes this may take a little longer or less all depending. Schedule: Depending on if there are back orders (hopefully not but you never know with how popular our new products have been)
May 28 - June 3 Sign Up
June 3 - All invoices must be paid
June 4- Rick will order all the ribbons for the shares that are full
if your share isn't full I will email you with a update
June 14 - I should receive the order
June 15 - 18 I will cut and repackage
June 20 - 22 I will start mailing out the ribbon shares
Hello and welcome to my blog & YouTube channel; today I am going to share with you another Graduation Gift Card/Money Holder option. If you are like us you are differently going to be needing these right now. We have gotten a few Graduation invitations from both friends and family. So that means we will be sending out either gift cards or a little cash; I mean what graduate wouldn't like cash or a gift card right now. I shared a very super quick and easy card with you yesterday that was a gift card/money holder featuring the Beautiful Promenade Stamp set and matching designer series paper. I will link to that here so you can check that out. My card today is actually very easy but looks more complicated. it can also be customized to match any schools colors. Here's a look at today's card.
Tips & Tricks:
Like I said this is a super easy card but looks way more complicated than it really is. It's just a couple score lines, a little stamping, and a little die cutting. To start off you will need a piece of 4 1/4 x 11 cardstock in what ever color you need for the school of the graduate. I did a couple different colors because we have to send them to people in different schools. So the one in the video tutorial that you will find below in just the Merry Merlot version. I found it super easy to find matching Stampin' Up! cardstock to each schools colors. I did two of these types cards and the one I shared yesterday, plus one more that I will share later this week.
I designed the card so that it could be folded up like a normal card and be placed in one of our medium envelopes, so there's no extra postage. I also designed it so that when it opens up you can not only have a place to put a gift card or a little cash but it would act like a easel card as well.
The Celebrate die cuts act as the stopper for the easel but it also helps as my inside sentiment. Plus I made a place to write a message on the inside as well. So I think I have all the bases covered so to speak. Here's a little look at the inside.
The basic black version is done the exact same way except I changed up a couple of the elements and the dies. Instead of the basic black mat I used pumpkin pie, and instead of the Celebrate You Dies (Which are retiring, sadly. So if you want them you need to get them now) I used the Well Written Dies from the Occasions Catalog as well as the Well Said Stamp Set. On the Merry Merlot version I used Ittly Bitty Greetings. If you are looking for a stamp set that has almost everything you will need you can find them with both these sets.
