Hello and welcome to my blog; today I have another fun card for you for this weeks Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge. My card this weeks uses the Fable Friends stamp set. This is just the cutest spring, child, and Easter set. By changing the sentiment it could be for any occasions. Here's a look at my card.
And here's the sketch that inspired my card today. You can click on the sketch image to visit the Paper Craft Crew page and check out what all the other designers came up with.
Tips & Tricks:
I started out by stamping the bunny from the Fable Friends stamp set in tuxedo black ink, because I knew I was going to be doing a little Stampin' Blend coloring. I used Smoky Slate (light & dark), Granny Apple Green (light & dark), and a little Petal Pink (light & dark). I then used the color lifter to soften some of the petal pink in his belly and some of the shadows.
I layered the bunny on a piece of Berry Burst Cardstock and then layered on a piece of Smoky Slate Cardstock. I stamped the Easter Greetings in Granny Apple green on a piece of Whisper White cardstock and layered it the same way berry burst and smoky slate. The smoky slate layer for the sentiment was cut out using the stitched shapes framelits.
I popped the sentiment up using a couple stampin' dimensionals. I used the 2017-2019 In Color Designer Series Paper in Berry Burst as the background. I used a small strip on the inside of the card. To finish off the card I added a few basic rhinestones three of them I colored with Granny Apple Green dark.

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you my March thank you card. Everyone that placed a order with me will be getting one of these in the mail very soon. For my Thank you card I used the Dear Doily Stamp Set from the 2019 Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalog. The matching thinlits have already sold out so the bundle is no longer available. But, the stamp set is a very beautiful set and deserves some love. Here's a look at my card.
Since I knew I was only going to be doing some stamping and a little work with a couple punches I went with the out going 2017-2019 In Colors as my ink colors and color scheme of my card. I am so going to miss these colors. It will be very hard to say goodbye to Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst, Fresh Fig, Powder Pink, & Tranquil Tide. If you want these colors you need to order everything you can with them now. You can pick them up in my online store. Once the retiring list (if not before) is announced mid April these colors will be gone for good.
Once I picked out the colors it was just a matter of stamping all the doilies. I used all of the out going colors on my card. For the inside of the card I stamped some of the doilies, and a sentiment on the inside.
Once I had the inside stamped and the outside I worked on the sentiment and punched it out using a 2'' circle punch. After that I punched out a 2 1/4" circle to layer the outside sentiment on. Using a couple Stampin' Dimensionals to pop up the sentiment for a little more interest.
I hope that you have enjoyed my card today; If so you can order the supplies in my online store 24/7 by clicking either on the Shop Now Tab above, by clicking here, or by clicking on the items in the Stampin' Up! Shopping List.

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you the card I created the other day during my Facebook Live. I used the Tea Together stamp set from the 2019 Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalog. The Tea Together stamp set is a wonderful set for a daughter to make a card for her mother. Here's a look at today's card.
For this card I did a little stampin' blend coloring. I stamped the tea pot from the stamp set and then put one of the flowers in the center. I only used Petal Pink, Calypso Coral, and Mint Macaron as the colors for the tea pot. I knew that I wanted to use the Time for Tea Designer Series Paper so I pulled my fourth color from that. I added in Coastal Cabana to round out my color choices.
This fun fold is really really easy to achieve. It's just a matter of making a additional scoreline and folding it in on the front. Before doing that I added the designer series paper. I actually only used one 4 x 5 1/4 piece of designer series paper to create the items on the front and the inside of the card. I trimmed the paper down for the larger part of the front and added that. Next I cut the remaining DSP down for the smaller fold. Then I took the left over and put it on the inside: Well, what would be on the inside of the card.
For the outside flap that gets glued down I used another piece of designer series paper and the decorative ribbon border punch to create the little detail. This detail adds just that little touch that pushes the card over to the next level. Sometimes it's that one little extra touch that you add that just takes it up a notch.
I added a penalized dollie to the front fold to have a little extra texture and to help to hide any of the inside stamping that may be seen. Then I added the tea pot over the dollie. Speaking of the inside of the card I had stamped and die cut the rose from the stamp set and added it to the inside. The rose is actually hidden under the flap.
