Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you a card that I made using the Hello Cupcake Stamp Set which you can earn for free with a $50.00 order for another 10 days.  That's right Saleabration is almost over!  I know sad face right; So if you want to take advantage of this promotion now is the time to do so I am just saying.  Here's a look at my card.

Saleabration, Stampin' Up!, Rick Adkins, Hello Cupcake Stamp Set, Fussy Cutting

Like I said I used the Hello Cupcake stamp set.  Which is a great set with the fun cute cupcake and coordinating images.  I actually designed this card before the coordinating framelits for Saleabration Coordination came out and have since sold out.  I cut each layer out by hand.  Yes, you just read that correct I actually did fussy cut each and every piece.  Here's a few cards that Stampin' Up! designed for the Saleabration Brochure.

Actually I only had to cut the top there layers of icing and the little heart pick.  After that I had stamped the cupcake bottom and cake on the whisper white (3 3/4 x 5) card front layer.  After the stamping of the bottom layer I added the icing each layer at a time with a little multipurpose liquid glue.  I find this adhesive the best for this type of card because you have a little wiggle room to make sure everything lines up perfectly.

For the inside of the card I stamped the sprinkles from the stamp set in the same colors that I used for the card.  Pineapple Punch, Flirty Flamingo, Merry Merlot, and Gorgeous Grape.  This is actually a color combination that you wouldn't think about, but looks really good together.

I matted the card front on a piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock (4 x 5 1/4).  My card base is a piece of 4 1/4 x 11 Gorgeous Grape that I scored at 5 1/2.  I stamped the little heart pick in Flirty Flamingo and cut it out to put in the top layer of icing.  I attached that with a mini glue dot.  at the bottom of the cupcake on the stamp is a shadow.  Well, with the stack I needed the shadow to extend a little more so I used my wink of stella brush pen to pull the ink out a little more.

To finish off the card I stamped my sentiment in Gorgeous Grape beside the cupcake.  I just love this card; it just makes me happy.  I think that the person that gets this card will just love it.  And my hope is that when the recipient opens the envelope this little card will put a smile on their face.  Here's a final look at my card.

Lasting Lily Tufted Card

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you this super cute simple card with just a little bling.  I cased this card using the Lasting Lily Stamp Set that's a Saleabration 2nd level reward.  Speaking of Saleabration there are still 11 days left to take advantage of the Biggest Promotion Stampin' Up! offers each year.

If you are ever looking for inspiration you should look no further then your own catalog and Saleabration brochure.  I actually CASEd this card from the Saleabration Brochure.  If you are wondering what I meant by CASE it means Copy and Share Everything or Copy And Selectively Edit.  You're catalog and brochures are not only places to get products but card ideas, layouts, and great design elements as well.

This is the card I used for inspiration for my card today.  I didn't change a lot of what Stampin' Up! designed.  I did change the embossing folder from the lace dynamic textured impression embossing folder that they used to the Tufted Dynamic Textured Impression Embossing Folder.  Everything else I pretty much kept the same.
For my version of their card I used a piece of 4 x 5 1/4 Old Olive cardstock for my embossed piece.  Then I added that to a piece of 4 1/4 x 11 Old Olive that was scored at 5 1/2.  Then I added the piece of whisper white with the stamping.  The Lasting Lily stamp set is just a wonderful all around stamp with Distinktive images and loving thoughts.  This set will help you with the moments you can't always put into words.  The Lasting Lily set will allow you to craft the perfect message of comfort and peace.
I really wanted to share with you that you can find inspiration from places right at your fingertips.  Sometimes you don't have to look any further then your front door.  Thanks for dropping by today.  Remember you can earn the Lasting Lily Stamp Set free with a $100 order in my online store.  You will find a list of the supplies I used on my card below.

You're Inspiring Spring Card for #PCC330

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you my card for this weeks Paper Craft Crew Challenge.  This week we have a super fun sketch for you that will make you feel excited.  Today, is the first day of Spring so I thought it was perfect to share with you a card featuring daffodils, and my custom ink pad that I created using one of the uninked Spectrum pad. Here's my card that i created using this weeks sketch.
Here's the sketch that inspired this card.  You can visit the Paper Craft Crew's site by clicking on the sketch and play along and/or check out what all the other design team members came up with.

I stamped the main image on a piece of whisper white cardstock and added it to the top of the card. I stamped the daffodil image from the You're Inspiring Stamp Set from the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog using my custom Spectrum ink pad.  I absolutely love the spectrum pads I always have.  There's just something about creating your own custom pad that is so rewarding.  I hope that these pads stick around for a while.  It's so nice to create a custom blend for any group of colors that you adore.  I am telling you that there's nothing like having your own custom ink pad filled with your favorite color combos.
I need to order more of these so I can create a couple more color combos that I have in mind.  For this pad I wanted a transition from yellow to green.  So I used Pineapple Punch, Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry, Lemon Lime Twist, and Granny Apple Green as my colors.  Each of the spectrum pads allows you to place five different ink colors in them.  So you can see how useful this could be.  The other one that I have created is my Rainbow pad where I used the 2018-2020 In Colors (Lovely Lipstick, Grapefruit Grove, Pineapple Punch, Blueberry Bushel, and Call Me Clover.)

For my card I inked up the largest daffodil stamp in the sent using ink pad (well actually this was the only ink pad I used today).  This gave me a wonder gradient look to the stamped image.  I then added a thin strip of granny apple green cardstock just below the stamped image.  I then added a strip of the 2017-2019 In Color Paper Stack below that.  Just a reminder that if you love the 2017-2019 In colors you need to go ahead and get everything you can now, come April when the retirement list is announced they will all sell out fast.  So if you have the ink pads you need to stock up on the ink refills that way you can keep using all those wonderful colors for years.

Here's a closer look at the stamped image at the top of my card. I wanted to let you see the wonderful beautiful images that you can get with these types of pads.

Thank you for dropping by today, and remember that if you need any of the supplies you've seen today you can order in my online store 24/7.  If you wanted to add a little more sparkle to your card you can add a little wink of stella to the stamped image.

Happy Stampin'
