Kylie's International Blog Highlights

Hello and welcome to my blog; my second post for today is part of Kylie's International Blog Highlights.  Please take a few minutes and vote for my card.  Speaking of which I created a little watercolor card.  I used the All That You Are stamp Set for my card.  Here's a little look at it.

I started out by stamping the largest flower twice on a piece of watercolor cardstock.  Next I stamped about five of the additional flowers from the stamp set.  Once I had everything stamped I started the watercoloring process.  Building up layer after layer until I had the desired hues and tones.

After everything was dried I painted the background with a blue shade and set the card front to the side to dry.  While this was drying I used the Frosted Bouquet framelits and cut out the medium flowers.  Once everything was cut out I take a piece of vellum cardstock and heat embossed my sentiment on it using copper embossing powder.  I then added the card front to a piece of Flirty Flamingo Cardstock and attached it to a Thick Whisper White Card base after wrapping my vellum sentiment on the front.  At this point I could come back and attach the other flowers using stampin' dimensionals around the sentiment and other flowers.  To finish off the card I added a few Glitter Enamel dots.

Thanks for dropping by you can view the other cards for this month's International Highlights by clicking here.  You can also vote for my card there also.

Painted Season Masculine Card Tutorial

Hello and welcome to my blog today, I hope that you are having a wonderful day so far.   I am going to be sharing with you a card I created for my YouTube Live back a couple weeks ago.  I used the Painted Seasons Stamp Set to create my card.  Here's a look at the card.

This was a super easy card to create and only uses just a few supplies.  I used two stamp pads one stamp sets and a scrap of the painted seasons designer series paper.  Here's a look at the live replay.

For the inside of the card I just simply stamped the pine cone and boughs.

As of this past Friday we now have matching framelits that you can purchase to match this stamp set.  I know right I couldn't believe it either.  The are the Four Season Framelits and you can purchase them up in my online store while supplies last.

Thanks for dropping by I hope that you have enjoyed my card today, and the replay of my YouTube Live.  I will be live on Tuesday afternoon about 4 pm CST on there.

Saturday Simple Stamping Episode 14

Hello and welcome to my YouTube Channel and Blog today I am going to share with you another episode of Saturday Simple Stamping!  The stamp set we are using today is a host set called Artfully Folded and features the cutest paper folded swans and other birds.  Rick's Saturday Simple stamping is a series for beginners; where I share quick and easy cards featuring stamps ink and paper.  Every once and awhile I may throw in an additional item, but I try to keep it to just stamps ink and paper as much as possible.  Here's a look at today's card.

Artfully Folded Stamp Set, Stampin' Up!, Rick Adkins, #simplestamping

This was a real fun card to do for this weeks simple stamping video tutorial.  I loved stamped the followers from the stamp set on the Flirty Flamingo card base (4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2) in Flirty Flamingo Classic Ink.  I cut a little square from Scrap Whisper White cardstock and stamped the swan in Tuxedo black ink and the inside 2nd image in Flirty Flamingo ink along with the sentiment.  It was matted on a piece of Powder Pink Cardstock for a tone on tone monochromatic look.
