Hello and welcome again to my blog; my second post today is for Kylie's International Blog Highlights. There are projects from all over the world that have been submitted. You can vote for my card here. If I am one of the top 10 winners I get to take part in her International blog hop again this month. For my card I used the It Starts with Art Stamp set to create this super fun clean and simple Encouragement card. Here's a look at my card.
Tips & Tricks:
I started out by picking one of the images I thought was under used. I went with the Paper Clip/Binder clip image and stamped it using my Stamparatus with the hinge step technique. I stamped five of them on a strip of whisper white cardstock (1 1/2 x 5 1/4) so that I could use my Many Marvelous Markers to color them in. Also lately a little under used. I colored each one in matching colors in the designer series paper. I used Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry, Coastal Cabana, and Pacific Point plus a little Basic Gray for the metal. Since I was stamping them on such a small piece of paper and the images where so small I really didn't need to blend them. I added that to a piece of Coastal Cabana Cardstock (1 3/4 x 5 1/4).
My card base was a piece of Pacific Point cut at 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4. To the front of the card base I added a piece of the Follow Your Art Designer Series Paper cut at 4 x 5 1/4 and stamped my sentiment at the bottom right corner. Above that I added my colored paper clips mounted on the coastal cabana cardstock with Stampin' Dimensionals. You can see how using the Stamparatus to stamp them I have perfect placement and spacing.
To finish off my card I added a few rhinestones to add just the right amount of sparkle. That's my card for today. If you are in the United States please consider shopping with me online. You will find a full shopping list below. Remember to also vote for my card during the voting period and visit the link above and check out all the great projects that were created.

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you another #simplestamping card. Today's card features the dinoriffic stamp set Dino Days new in the 2019 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog. This is a super fun set featuring some very cute dinosaurs. As I mentioned in another post I totally think this set can be used for anyone not just kids.
If you are new to stamping these tutorials and videos are designed just for you. They are designed to teach new crafters how to create wonderful cards only using Stamps, Ink, and Paper! These are super simple but fun and cute cards that you can easily recreate without problems. I design a new card for my beginning stampers each week. I remember how it felt when I first started stamping and how scary it can be to share your cards with others. So I am here to help you not to feel that way. And one way I can do that is to share with you a Simple Stamped card that you can recreate and to help guide you in that you don't have to have all the fun stuff just yet. All that comes as you progress. Here's a look at today's simple stamping card.
See I told you super cute cards but easy to reproduce for the new stamper in mind. I started off with just a piece of Thick Whisper White Cardstock. A standard size piece of cardstock in the US is 8 1/2 x 11. You can get two cards from one sheet. You will want to score it down the middle: I did a portrait style card today so we will turn it on the long side and score it at 5 1/2. Turn it back around on the short side and cut down the middle at 4 1/4. Now you how two card bases cut at 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2. Now all we have to do is stamp.

Simple Stamping:
Now since we have the paper cut it's time to pull out the ink. I used Pretty Peacock, Lovely Lipstick, Mango Melody, Old Olive, Pineapple Punch, and Pool Party. In the image above you will see the addition of Pool Party little images that I didn't show in the video. I used two of the small images to fill up some of the white space on the card. You can see them and copy them from the pictures below.
Pick a dinosaur and a ink color and stamp one dinosaur in each color, around the card. I started with the largest one first and then filled in the rest.
Once you have both cards stamped add your sentiment and then use the smaller stamps in pool party to fill in the white space a little. For the card above I used the Palm branch to fill in areas.
For this one I used the same colors but used the foot prints to fill in some of the white space.
Here's another look at both cards so that you can see them side by side without having to scroll back up. Thanks for dropping by today, I hope that you will give this simple stamped card a try. You will find all the supplies used in the Stampin' Up! Shopping List below.

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am sharing with you a fun thank you and friendship card that can be sent to both kids and adults. This is such a cute little card it just makes me smile looking at it. I was supposed to have used this card today for the Paper Craft Crew Challenge but someone feel asleep last night while editing photos in their chair. And, let's just say didn't get it submitted in time for the design teams posts to go live this morning. I thought it was just to cute of a card not to share it with you all today.
I used the Dino Days stamp set and matching dies to create today's card. I started out with a piece of whisper white cardstock (4 x 5 1/2) and stamped the dinosaurs in Pineapple Punch, Mango Melody, Lovely Lipstick, and Old Olive going down the side. I added the little footprints in Pretty Peacock to add to the story of the card. I wanted it to show that they where all moving in a pack. Must friends when together will also travel in a pack or group.
I then stamped the Brontosaurus in Pretty Peacock and used the matching dies to cut him out. I wanted him to look like he was in front of the herd so I popped him up on a few dimensionals. Since He actually would have been taller than the other dinosaurs anyway and in the foreground I knew this had to be done. Plus it allowed for my layering to work a little better. When I stamped the Old Olive dinosaur I got him a little close to the Lovely Lipstick one and his head touched the body and didn't show up as well as I would have liked. But that's okay its a handmade card not a card from Hallmark. It adds character right?
I stamped the sentiment in Lovely Lipstick on the bottom left of the card and added some of the Dinoroar Enamel Shapes around it. I wanted to make sure it didn't get lost with such a right sided heavy card. I also added a small strip of the Dinoroar Designer Series Paper to the inside of the card to tie everything in and to add a little interest. Originally, I had the same strip of paper going across the front of the card where the footprints are but I thought it was a little to much and took away from the rainbow of dinosaurs; so I removed it and just left the tracks.
So my advice for you today is don't be afraid to edit some things out once you do it if it's just not working. After getting everything stamped I added the focal image to a Pretty Peacock Mat (5 3/8 x 4 1/8) and the card front was then ready for the Pineapple Punch card base (5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4). I added a whisper white inside to finish off the card. Here's my color combo for this card you can pin this image to your Pinterest board to save it for later.
Thanks for dropping by today I hope that you have a wonderful day; remember if you want any of these supplies you have seen used today you can pick them up in my online store by clicking on the item below in my Stampin' Up! Shopping List.
