Fall Leaves with Stampin' Blends - Gather Together Stamp Set
Hello and welcome to my blog; today I have a super pretty Fall card for you, feathering some Fall leaves and Stampin' Blend coloring. I used the Gather together Stamp Set for my card today. Which features a large leaf that's a line art image perfect for coloring with any media you pick. I went with Stampin' Blends to have some wonderful vivid color. Using the Stampin' Blends to color with helped to achieve the Fall colors I was going for. Here's a look at my card.
Tips & Tricks:
To start my card I took a piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock and and stamped the large leaf image from the Gather Together Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black ink. I let the ink dry completely before I started coloring.
Once the ink was completely dry it was time to start coloring. For each leaf I did a four color blend; by that I mean I used four different stampin' blends to color each one. I started off by coloring the bottom leaf with Mango Melody light and dark with Daffodil Delight light and dark. For the red leaf I used Cherry Cobbler light and dark with a little Real Red and Rich Razzleberry. On the third leaf I used Mango Melody Pumpkin pie and a just a little Soft Suede. By using the four colors I was able to give the leaves a more realistic look.
Once all the leaves where colored I used the matching dies to cut them out. It was time to put everything together. I used a Thick Whisper White Card base cut at 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2. Before putting all the leaves on the card base I flicked on a little Basic Black ink to tie in the tuxedo black that I stamped with. Once the ink dried I stamped a sentiment and cut it out with my paper snips. I then started arranging everything on the card base.
Once I had everything arranged the way I wanted; it was time to start attaching everything to the card. I attached some of the leaves with liquid glue (the pumpkin pie leaf). For the more yellow leaf I used both liquid glue and a couple stampin' dimensionals. By doing this it allows for more dimensionals to the card but allows the eye to be drawn to the leaf that's completely popped up (Cherry Cobbler leaf) as well as the sentiment.
To finish off the card I added the sentiment with a few mini dimensionals and added some gold sequins to add a little bling to the card. I hope that you have enjoyed my little Fall card today; sadly Fall will be over soon and we will not get to see all the beautiful colors that comes with this time of year again until next year. But, there is another way to keep seeing these colors all year long, how you may be asking? Well, that's if you have the Gather Together stamp and die set along with stampin' blends. Thanks for dropping by, I will see you again tomorrow, remember that today kicks off this years Online Extravaganza sale in my online store. This sale only last for three days and you can stock up on some great products at a discount.

Give Thanks - Birds Of A Feather Stampin' Up!
Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you a fun Thanksgiving card. Not necessarily a Thanksgiving Day card but a Thanksgiving card. I used one of my favorite stamp sets from the Holiday Catalog for this card which you may have guessed is Birds of A Feather. Here's a look at my card.
Tips & Tricks:
I started out my stamping the sentiment all over the Soft Suede card base in matching ink. I then stamped the turkey from the stamp set on a piece of whisper white cardstock and colored it with a few stampin' blends. Then I layered it up on a piece of Crushed Curry and Shaded Spruce. I popped that up on a few dimensionals.
