December 2019 Paper Pumpkin Something for Everything

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you this month's Paper Pumpkin.  I got mine last week and started putting it together over the weekend.  Paper Pumpkin is our monthly subscription craft kit that is delivered to your mail box.  Each month everything in the box is different as well as the projects.  Some months you may make cards, and some maybe a dimensional project.  Each month is a surprise in a box delivered to your door.  Paper Pumpkin contains everything you need to create each project and there's always directions, and a little video provided by Stampin' Up!.  This months kit contained 12 cards (4 each of 3 designs) and here are the cards as they were intended (well somewhat).

What's inside the box:

Each month each box has different projects and different components all ready to put together.  Inside each box along with the supplies for the projects you get a  exclusive stamp set and a new ink spot. The ink spot is just a smaller version of our larger ink pads.  I love to use them to travel and to use with my Stamparatus.
Here's a look at the supplies that came in this month's kit.  Along with the card bases and matching envelopes we got four sheets of die cut stickers that we used to embellish one of the card designs.  There were three sheets of gold foil die cut stickers that also embellished the cards.  Also in this months kit was a set of die cut banners to stamp all our sentiments on.
That was all the items to make the cards besides a little pack of champagne rhinestones, stampin' dimensionals, and this month's stamp set.
This month's stamp set features a ton of sentiments.  This stamp set has so many sentiments that you should be able to find the perfect one for the perfect card.  Also in the stamp set is a small flower image with three little flowers, perfect to embellish up your cards.
The final item in this month's kit as I mentioned was the ink spot.  Each month we get at least one in a coordinating color.  Some times we may get a couple of ink spots in coordinating colors.  This month's color came in a new 2019-2021 In Color.   Which was very exciting, and it was one of my favorite colors.  So I am sure you are wondering what color was in the box; well it was Terracotta Tile.  A great warm dark coral color perfect for so many project.

This Month's Cards:

As I mentioned above this month's Paper Pumpkin kit (Something for Everything) made twelve cards (four each of three designs).  One of the great things about Paper Pumpkin is that I can sit down and put the kits together anywhere and they don't take very long at all.   This was the first card that I made with this month's kit.
I love this background paper on all the cards, but this one was one of my favorites.  I love the gold foil accents and the mix of patterns.
The next card in this months kit features the die cut stickers and the gold foil die cut swirl.  This was probably one of the simplest cards to put together.   I stamped a simple thank you on one of the banners and added a few of the rhinestones to finish off the card.
The last card in this month's card kit came out a little different than intended.  I was supposed to have put the main focal point of the card in the bottom right of the card but silly me had the card upside down when I created it.  So it ended up being on the top left corner instead.  I used one the hexagon sticker and the small gold foil leaves.  I stamped the banner with Happy Birthday to make it a super simple birthday card.  To finish off the card I added a few of the rhinestones in the kit.
So are you wondering how you can get started creating using Paper Pumpkin!  It's super simple you can subscribe for a monthly subscription, or you can purchase prepaid subscriptions for 1, 3, 6, or 12 month's.  To get kit for a certain month you have to subscribe by the 10th of each month.  So are you wondering whats the benefits to each way.

Month to Month:

A month to month subscription (which is what I do) has a few benefits.  A few of the benefits to this type of subscription are convenience, and you can cancel or suspend your subscription at any time.  A month to month subscription costs $22 a month plus tax.  Which is billed monthly.

Subscribe to a Monthly Subscription

Prepaid Subscription:

Benefits to doing a prepaid subscription is you get to enjoy savings with a 6 or 12 month subscription.  You would qualify with the 6 and 12 month subscription for Stampin' Rewards.  During Saleabration you also can qualify for Saleabration items as well.  Another benefit to a prepaid subscription is they make a perfect gift.  You can purchase the subscription and give it to that crafty friend, family member or coworker and they can use the prepaid code to redeem when they want.

When you subscribe to either plan you also get exclusive access to be able to purchase past kits (while supplies last)  This is something that only a Paper Pumpkin Subscriber can do.

If you would like to extend the cards in your kit I will be sharing with you a few alternative projects with you this week on my blog and YouTube Channel.  So make sure you are on the watch out for them.  I will also be part of the A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop on Thursday when you will see more alternative projects from a very talented group of Demonstrators.

The Shelli Kit May 2019's Paper Pumpkin (OnStage Sneak Peek Week Day 2)

Welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you a little sneak peek of the May Paper Pumpkin kit.  It is suitably named the Shelli Kit, because it was designed by Shelli Gardner Stampin' Up!'s co founder and board chair.  We got to get a little preview of this kit and got to create one of the cards that came in the kit this past weekend while at OnStage both Live and Local.

So this May, you’re in for a treat if you are a subscriber to Paper Pumpkin if not you can sign up here.   It's super exciting that Paper Pumpkin has teamed up with Shelli Gardner, Stampin’ Up!’s board chair and cofounder, to deliver you a very special Paper Pumpkin kit.  It’s exclusive, collectible, and one of a kind!  If you are a die-hard Paper Pumpkin or a Stampin’ Up! fan you'll not  want to miss this special edition.
The look and feel of this kit is all Shelli.  It’s elegant, feminine, and so full of springtime details that you’ll probably just want to take a walk, breathe in the fresh air, and then go home and stamp every card in the kit.  And the box it comes in?  I predict that you’ll be keeping it . . . like . . . forever. Wait and see.

Hugs from Shelli:

If you are New to Paper Pumpkin:

The “Shelli” kit is perfect for a new subscribers or stampers.  It will arrive in a one-of-a-kind box with a beautiful vintage design, and it provides a fun and easy papercrafting experience.  It will also help a new subscriber/stampers connect instantly to the Paper Pumpkin and Stampin’ Up! community because everyone will be talking about it. So if you would like to be a  new subscriber you won’t want to miss this especially fun kit because everyone will be getting one in May.
This kit is also perfect for Stampin’ Up! customers who are new to Paper Pumpkin.  Most of our regular customers know and love Shelli, so how could you resist not becoming a subscriber when knowing that the May kit was inspired by her?  If you are not a subscriber to Paper Pumpkin this is one of the most collectible kits ever.  So I am sure you would like to see a little sneak peek of the card that we made from this kit while at OnStage Local in Charlotte.
This is a super cute card!  I love how the nest was preprinted on the note card.  This is always a great thing about Paper Pumpkin.  It makes crafting fun and easy.  Everything came in our little kit.  The little flowers are popped up using mini dimensionals.  All we had to do was stamp the sentiment and place everything.  The hardest thing to me was getting the cottonish ribbon to lay just right.  My hands were a little to big to do the finger trick where you wrap it around the fingers.  There wasn't enough with the three fingers but when I used 2 it was way to small to fit behind the sentiment.  The cruse of Fat Fingers.  I just kind of made loops and secured it with dimensionals.
So the only way you are going to get this kit is by signing up for a subscription if you don't have one already.  Sign up before May 10th to secure your kit.  I predict that this kit will be a sale out.  It's super super cute and very pretty.  And, the best part it was super easy to put this card from the kit together; minus my fat finger incident with the ribbon.  I hope that you have enjoyed this little sneak peek.  Remember if you would like to become a subscriber I would love to have you.  You can click here to subscribe.

Stampin' Up!'s Incredible Like You Project Kit Video Tutorial

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you one of my favorite new kits from the 2019 Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalog.  I just adore the Incredible Like You Project kit.  This is one of those kits that you have to purchase the additional stamp sets but it's so worth it. I am going to share a little walk through of the four different designs in this kit and next week I will be sharing ten alternative cards using this kit and a few additional projects.  But, you will have to wait till next week to see that.  Here's a look at the cards in this kit as well as a how to video tutorial.

Walk Through of the Kit and Card Designs:

First off lets start with a look of what comes in the kit shall we.

Here's all the items that come in your kit when you first open the package.  You get everything to make the 16 cards cut and ready to go.  Along with a instruction booklet to help you along the way.  The only additional supplies you need to provide is a Lovely Lipstick and Coastal Cabana ink pads and the Incredible like you stamp set.  This was a easy kit to put together.  I love the kits from Stampin' Up! and purchase them but for some reason I never get them put together, but with this kit I put all the cards together and loved every minute of it.  Let's look at all four card designs in the this kit.

See I told you they are very nice and I love the box that comes in this kit they you can keep the finished card in or even create them put them in the box and add a bow and a tag and give the finished products as a gift to someone that would love a set of handmade cards.

Video Tutorial:

I hope that you have enjoyed my post today and found a little inspiration from my little walk through of the Incredible Like You Project Kit.  If you would like to have your own kit you can order all the supplies in my online store 24/7.
