Hello and welcome to my blog; today is Valentine's Day and I hope you have a great one, I could do like everyone else and share a tone of Valentine's cards of projects with you but I wanted to share a card that you could send all month long or even all year long to show someone that you love and support them. Here's a look at my card.
Tips & Tricks:
To dress up a simple card using a smaller image and designer series paper you will want to balance out the colors on the card. For example, with today's card, I used an 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock to make the card base. I then stamped the bird image in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto a piece of Basic White Cardstock.
Simple Coloring:
After stamping the bird and sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink I did some simple coloring. Which I stamped with the Stamparatus; so that I could stamp a couple times to get a nice dark impression.
Finishing Touches:
To finish off the card I added the colored image onto a layer of Pool Party Cardstock and then a layer of Basic Black Cardstock. I popped the colored layer up on Stampin' Dimensionals. The icing n the cake for this card was to sprinkle a few Matte Black Dots around.
Thanks for dropping by and make sure that if you want to get your hands on the supplies used to remake this project I have a list of all the supplies used below; so that you can order all the supplies that I used.
