Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you the card that we made last week during my comedy of errors (aka last week's YouTube Live). It was so funny the YouTube Gods were telling me not to do a live video but we did one anyway. Everything that could have gone wrong did, but the card turned out great. Here's a look at the modified center step card that we made.
Modified Center Step:
I took the basic Center Step Fun Fold card design and modified it a little by adding an extra larger center panel. This gave me more real estate to add more designer series paper and more elements to the card.
I used products from the Heart & Home Suite from the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog to create the Modified Center Step Card. I love the Heart & Home Designer Series Paper with its fun colorful floral patterns on one side and the woodgrain farmhouse patterns on the other.
Video Tutorial:
In the Video Tutorial, I will walk you step by step on how to make the Modified Center Step Card. I give you all the sizes, score marks, and more in the video. I also have a recipe card that you can download for free at the bottom of this post.
Finishing Touches:
To finish off the modified center step fold card I used floral die-cut elements that I cut from matching cardstock using the Flowers of Home Dies. My sentiment came from the Blessings of Home Stamp Set, which I just put onto a die-cut element cut from Basic White Cardstock.
Rick's Recipe Card:
I have created a new feature for my projects that I do either on YouTube Live, Facebook Live or with a video for you. I have created this little recipe card that has all the supplies listed that I used and you will need to recreate this card exactly as I created it for your shopping ease. The recipe card has all the items I used listed with the item numbers, prices, and measurements needed for this card design. You can download the recipe card to your computer, print it off, and save it for your future crafting uses.
