Happy New Year and a fun little card - Word Wishes Dies ~ Rick Adkins

Hello and welcome to my blog; and the New Year! To celebrate the new year I created this fun little festive card using only cardstock adhesive and dies plus a little ribbon. Here's a look the card.

Just wanted to wish you a Happy New Year with this fun Card using some dies. Find out what I used on my blog post!

I used Fresh Freesia Cardstock to create the 4 1/4" x 11" card base. I added a Basic White Cardstock Layer that I cut out with the largest die from the Ornate Layers Dies. I wanted to showcase that you could use just cardstock and dies to create a card.

I added a piece of the Simply Elegant Specialty Designer Series Paper to the card front. I then took the Word Wishes Dies and some Basic Black Cardstock which I added a little of the Adhesive Sheets to before die cutting the sentiment.

The sentiment was attached to a piece of Basic White Cardstock that was attached to a piece of Fresh Freesia Cardstock. The sentiment layer was popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals. To finish off the card I added a few Champagne Rhinestones and a bow made from Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon.
