Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you my Free Christmas Card Class from last night. Each month I hold a live online card class each month on my YouTube Channel on the third Thursday of the month at 8:30 pm CST. This month's class I thought how to make four quick cute cards using the Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set and some supplies you may not think about using.
Perfectly Plaid:

The first card that we made was a simple little fun fold card. I used Poppy Parade, Pear Pizzazz, and Shaded Spruce Inks to stamp the sentiment and tree images. The unexpected products that I used on this card the OMBRE 12" X 12" SPECIALTY PAPER. With the Ombre Specialty Paper you can add pizzazz to your projects with these glittering glimmer ombre papers. Not only do these specialty papers glimmer in fun bright colors, they also have an ombre effect (the colors gently blend from light to dark) so be sure to show off the cascading tones of color in your projects! You get four sheets (1 each) of this fun paper in Gorgeous Grape, Mango Melody, Night of Navy, Poppy Parade.

The next card that I shared last night was this fun little gem using some untraditional colors. This card features Gorgeous Grape, Garden Green, and Pool Party as it's colors. I used the Evergreen Boarder Punch; plus showed everyone some tips on using one of these type punches.
The unexpected item on this card is the Hydrangea Hill Mercury Glass Designer Acetate. With the HYDRANGEA HILL MERCURY GLASS DESIGNER ACETATE your cards, scrapbook pages, and other paper craft projects will shine when you use Hydrangea Hill Mercury Glass Designer Acetate. These acetate sheets with color foil feature a faux mercury glass finish. It's a fresh take on old-fashioned old mercury glass. During the video I share some tips on how to adhere it to your projects and which adhesives work best.

The third card that I made last night was a tone on tone card. I shared how to use the Adorning Designs Decorative Masks with a double stencil technique. This et of masks are found in the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog. But that was not my unexpected item.
My unexpected item for this card was the 2021–2023 In Color Shimmer Vellum. The 2021–2023 In Color Shimmer Vellum packs a punch with vibrant colors that shimmer delicately in the light. It’s high quality vellum, making it a great choice for all papercrafting projects. Layer over neutral tones to enhance the unique shimmer or pair with like cardstock colors to play with monochrome textures.

Video Tutorial:
If you are viewing this post by email you may have to click here to view the video. My last card for this class was probably one of the most popular. I shared how to do the highlight embossing folder technique. I used the Star-Crossed Embossing Folder for the embossing and you may have missed it in the 2021 July-December Mini Catalog.
My unexpected item on this card is the fabulous Rainbow Glimmer Paper! Make any project sparkle and shine with accents you make with these thin glimmery rainbow paper sheets! Use large pieces for a dramatic ombre effect. Or use smaller pieces of a specific color—it’s like having a multipack of colors on two sheets. Cut with dies for easy accents. You get 2 sheets 12" x 12" sheets in the pack. The colors featured in the papers are Bermuda Bay, Blackberry Bliss, Granny Apple Green, Magenta Madness, Mango Melody.
