Hello and welcome to my blog; I have a fun little fall Dutch door card to share with you today. I used the Nuts About Squirrels Stamp Set. I wanted to create a fun little Fall birthday card to share with you today and the cheeky little squirrels from the Nuts About Squirrels Stamp Set provided the perfect fun elements to this card.

Are you nuts about stamping? It’s easy to go nuts with the Nuts about Squirrels Stamp Set. This set features two cheeky squirrels that will look adorable scampering across any of your projects. Create a scene using the acorns, leaves, and tree branch. Mix and match the greetings with the images to create cards for birthdays, get well, and thinking of you. Use the Two-Step pieces to add color to your squirrel, add texture to your leaf, or to create a multicolored acorn. Or if you’re feeling especially artistic, you can color the squirrels using your favorite coloring techniques. No matter where you live in the world, you can customize these critters to match the fauna outside your house. Red, gray, brown—these creatures are just plain cute no matter their color.

I used some of the Harvest Meadows Designer Series Paper on the front of the card. With it's natural floral and botanical imagery along with background patterns that set the stage for added Fall fun. I used some of the Cork Specialty Paper which is perfect for layering and adding a natural texture to the card. I actually stamped the leaves on one of the die cut circles for a little more interest.

Here's a video that I shared last week showing how to make the Double Dutch Door fun fold card from one sheet of cardstock.

On the inside of the card I added a Very Vanilla panel where I stamped the my inside sentiment and another one of the cheeky little squirrels.

To finish the card I added the Birthday sentiment on a strip of Bumblebee Cardstock. I also added a Brushed Metallic Dot to add a little shine to the card.
