Hello and welcome back to my Blog today; I have a super cute little project to share with you that I CASED from the 2021 Sale-A-Bration Brochure. I wanted to share with you a few tips and tricks on recreating this project and give you a little insight on where I find inspiration. Here's a look at this adorable card using the Penguin Place Bundle.
This super cute sample can be found in the current August-September Sale-A-Bration Brochure on page 5.
Finding Inspiration in the Obvious Under Looked Places:

Above is the image from Stampin' Up! that I CASEd to create my sample from. I CASEd it exactly as I saw it. If you are not similar with the term CASE it means Copy and Share Everything or Copy and Selectively Edit. I choose to Copy it as I saw it in the Sale-A-Bration Brochure. All of Stampin' Up!'s publications are filled with tons of inspiration that you can pull from. There's no need to run to the internet to find inspiration. The catalogs but old and new are always my go to place to find beautiful color combinations and inspiration for projects.
Tips & Tricks:
Next I stamped his little beak, and foot in Pumpkin Pie Ink. The foot was punched out using the Penguin Builder Punch. The hat and beak were cut out with my Paper Snips. I know some of you don't care for fussy cutting but sometimes you just have to. I stamped the balloons in Misty Moonlight Ink and cut them out also with my Paper Snips. Before putting everything on the card I cut my card base from Basic White Thick Cardstock and cut a piece of Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper to 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" and attached it to the front. I then layered the snow banks on the front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The little penguin and the balloons are popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals. I attached the white twine from the Baker's Twine Essential Combo Pack to the back of the balloons with Mini Glue Dots before adding the dimensionals.
