Triple Accordion Card - Beauty of Friendship and Bird and Branches Stamp Sets ~ Rick Adkins

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you a fun little card using some new and returning products from the 2021-2022 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog. And it's also a fun fold card. So, you know it has to be pretty easy if I did it. Here's a look at my project.

For my project today I paired the Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper with the Birds & Branches Stamp Set.

Birds & Branches & Beauty of Friendship:

The Birds & Branches Stamp Set allows you to celebrate nature’s tiny song makers, branches, eggs, and nest images give you everything you need to stamp a cozy scene with your favorite feathered friends. It's super simple to create birds with Two-Step Stampin’, stamp the silhouette image in the lightest color of ink. Then stamp the detailed images in progressively darker colors. The Birds & Branches Stamp Set is a perfect choice for Mother’s Day, friendship, or multi-occasion greetings.

The Birds & Branches Stamp Set is all images so you can pair it with your favorite sentiments from any of your stamp sets. I picked a sentiment from the brand new Beauty of Friendship Stamp Set to go on my card today. Since the Beauty of Friendship Stamp Set allows you to celebrate good times and good people and allows you to choose a sentiment to help you say what you feel. Was the reason I decided to pair both sets together today.

Fun Folding:

My card today is a Triple Accordion Fun Fold Card. I was super surprised at how easy it was to create. For the base of the card I used a piece of Old Olive Cardstock that I cut to 5 1/2" x 11" and scored it at 4 1/4", 7" and 9 3/4". I simply folded all the score lines to make an accordion fold. On each of the sections I added a little of the Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper cut to size. On one of the panels I added a piece of Basic White Cardstock so that I had a place to write a personal message.

Finishing Touches:

To finish off my card I added an additional panel to the front of the card. I cut a piece of Old Olive Cardstock to make a mat layer for a piece of Misty Moonlight. I took the Bark 3D Embossing Folder and embossed the Misty Moonlight Cardstock before attaching it. This is where I added the die cut branch along with the stamped and die cut images from Birds & Branches Stamp Set. Everything was cut out with the Birds and More Dies. To the next I used a little Wink of Stella Clear Brush Pen to add a little shimmer to the card. The sentiment was added to a fish tail banner, made from some Basic White Cardstock, with one of the sentiments from the Beauty of Friendship Stamp Set in Old Olive Ink.
