Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you a cool card! My card today features some new products from the 2021-2022 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog and some returning favorites as well. Today I am using the Sweet Ice Cream Stamp Set and paired it with some new designer series paper. Here's a look at my card.
You're So Cool:
I love the play on words with the Sweet Ice Cream Photopolymer Stamp Set. This fun cool treats themed stamp set will allow you to add sweetness to someone's day. The set includes ice cream cones, sprinkles, birthday greetings, sweet sentiments, and more, that will make everyone's heart melt. Perfect for thank you cards, birthday cards, and other paper crafts.
To create the peach ice cream I started with Pale Papaya Ink and then took a Sponge Dauber with some Calypso Coral Ink on it and went around the edges of the inked up ice cream image before stamping it. Once I stamped it I got this beautiful multicolored image. I paired the image from the stamp set with a new designer series paper from the 2021-2022 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog. I picked a piece of designer series paper from the You're a Peach Designer Series Paper pack for the card front. I thought it was super fun to pair these two things together.
I placed the striped piece of designer series paper onto a piece of Early Espresso cut just 1/8" larger. And then placed this onto my 4 1/4" x 11" Thick Basic White card base. I layered a little Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon next and then placed the ice cream cone along with my sentiment strip with my sentiment on it onto a Basic White circle that was layered onto a Pale Papaya scalloped circle. To finish off the card I added a few Artistry Bloom Adhesive Backed Sequins to the card.
