Hello and welcome to my blog; today I have a super cute card for you using the Butterfly Brilliance Stamp Set and matching Brilliance Wings Dies plus a little embossing as well. With just a little ink blending to kick things up a little. Here's a look at the card I made.
There's really not as much involved to this card as I made it sound in the start of this post. I stamped the Butterfly Brilliance Image using my Stamparatus onto some Basic White Cardstock and used my blending brushes to add color the butterflies. I used So Saffron, and Calypso Coral Inks for that.
Sometimes the best way to color an image is just by doing a little ink blending over the stamped images to add a little color. This is quick easy and doesn't take to much time. Once all the coloring was done I used the matching dies to cut out the butterflies. I used one of the sentiments I had made a few weeks ago with the Many Messages Stamp Set and matching Messages Dies. This is one great thing about the Many Messages Stamp Set; because it makes all these sentiments you can do a bunch of them at once and save the ones you haven't used for another card later down the line.
In the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog (2021-2022) there's also the Many Happenings Stamp Set that does the same thing as the Many Messages Stamp Set but with different greetings. Which I need to order, because I love the convenience of having all these different sentiments ready to go for a card. Anyway, for my card I embossed a piece of Calypso Coral Cardstock with one of the Meadow Moments Embossing Folders, and attached it to a piece of So Saffron Cardstock cut just slightly larger than the embossed piece. I added this to my Thick Basic White card base along with the sentiment and a few Artistry Blooms Adhesive Backed Sequins to finish off the card.
