Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you the May 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Batters Up!. I got the kit in the mail on Saturday afternoon and ran to the studio and slide into home plate to do an unboxing video and how to which I will share with you today. Here's a look at the cards in the May Paper Pumpkin.
The May Kit was a baseball themed kit that allowed you to make some super cute projects geared towards your biggest baseball fans. If you are unfamiliar with Paper Pumpkin; it's a monthly subscription kit from Stampin' Up!. Everything you need for the predesigned projects are in the box each month. The projects each month range from cards, to treat holders, and more. All the die cuts are done, and you have preprinted card bases, envelopes an exclusive stamp set and you get at least one ink spot in a coordinating color each month. For only $22.00 plus tax. Or you can pick a prepaid subscription and pay for them all at once. If the prepaid subscription is the way you want to go the best deals are with the 6 and 12 months prepaids.
Here's a look at the first card that comes in this month's kit. It was super easy to do and the only stamping that I did was the little friend sentiment strip at the top. I am not a big baseball fan, but I had so much fun putting this card together. I love the little baseball type card that went in the center of this card. Each month's Paper Pumpkin Kit comes with directions and starting with the May kit the directions are now in full color.
The second card in this month's kit was this super cute pin stripped card with the baseball, two bats, and the All Star sentiment die cut. I added Friend to the ball. I think the pin stripped card base is one of my favorites. There's something about pin strips that just makes me happy.
The last card this month is this cutie. The stripped background piece reminds me of a Harry Potter scarf. But, I love that you stamped the sentiment onto home plate and added it to the card. I thought that was a fun design element. Plus, you can not really tell it from the picture but the card base is a wood grain just like a base ball bat.
