Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share the card that I made yesterday during my YouTube Live. I had designed this card back in December but had not gotten around to sharing it yet. So, I thought yesterday was a great day to do that. I shared how to make a stand up easel calendar card if you are wondering. You will find all the sizes and dimensions below. Here's a look at my card.
To create my project I used the Dragonfly Garden Bundle and the Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper. Really and truly the designer series paper is the star of this card. I used it in the background and for all the dragonflies. I did very little stamping on this card.
All my stamping for this card is on the panel on the back. This is also a place that I can write a personal message to the person that receives the card. I stamped the large flower image from the stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink and used Calypso Coral and Bumblebee Stampin' Write Markers to color the centers and petals of each large flower. I then stamped the sentiment in Misty Moonlight.
There are many places you can get the little mini calendars at. I did a google search and found these at Tailored Expressions. I am sure that's not spelled correctly. You really want to look around for the best price; because I found them for very little to very expensive. You can also find them online where you can print them yourself. I have a friend that was given some by her local Pharmacy. So, there's many places you can find them if you just do a little looking.
