Masculine Valentine's Day Card - Heart to Heart & Paper Blooms Video Tutorial
Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you a card I made last night during my weekly Facebook Live. I mentioned on Monday that you would want to join me today. I mention that I would share a card with the same layout and supplies from Monday. But instead of another feminine Valentine's Day Card, we are going to make a masculine Valentine's Day. If you missed my post from Monday you can find it here. Here's a look at my card.
I used the same products that I used on Monday with the addition of the Heart Punch Pack. I wanted to take the Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper which is very feminine looking in colors and some of the patterns and use it for a masculine card. So, I knew I could use the same layout that I used but I wasn't sure about the Designer Series Paper. But I was so up for the challenge.
Tips & Tricks:
Mix and match the florals and patterns for a variety of looks. I picked one of the patterns that can be used for anyone. I did really like this striped pattern for my masculine card. You can use the watercolor circles to cut out your own petals, flowers, or leaves like I did on my card yesterday. Today I used the Paper Blooms DSP to create backgrounds on my card,. You can also use it to make custom envelopes for all your cards. This papercrafting staple is great scrapbook paper, card making paper, and more! Plus during Sale-A-Bration (January 5th - February 28th) you can earn it FREE with qualifying orders in my Online Store.
The hearts and flowers in the Heart to Heart Stamp Set make it perfect for projects that celebrate love, friendship, and Valentine’s Day. Make greeting cards to convey all the thoughts of your heart. I used the Happy Valentine's Day sentiment and the small heart stamp from the stamp set to create today's card. I still have the same layout as I did on Monday; I did add the hearts in place of the black stitched rectangle that had the sentiment layered on it. So, I used the hearts in place of the rectangle as my sentiment layer.
