A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop - January 2021

 

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am taking part in the A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop.  I have a couple cute little alternative projects for you using the January 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit titled Sending Hearts

This month I created a card and a Mini Pizza Box Treat Holder.  For both projects, I used one of the card bases from this month's kit.  All I did was cut it down to the sizes that I wanted.  

For my card, I used a Thick Basic White Card base, along with a piece of Basic Black Cardstock to go along with the cut-down card base, die-cut pieces, ribbon, and embellishments from the January Kit.  For the card, I stamped the heart image from the stamp set and also stamped the die cut as well so that I could layer them both together so that the sentiment would look as if it was spotlighted with the spotlight technique.  

For the Mini Gold Pizza Box; I used the other half of the card base from the kit and a piece of Basic Black Cardstock as a mat.  I then wrapped some of the black ribbon from the kit and tied it into a bow.  

I then added one of the die cuts sentiment strip and heart embellishments on the box.
