You Go Girl! - Hearts & Kisses Bundle - The Spot #144 ~ Rick Adkins

Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you a card that I made for the Spot Creative Challenge this week using the Heart & Kisses Bundle (which by the way is my featured bundle in my Online Card Club this month). This week's creative challenge is all about showcasing your best work so it's Designer's Choice. Here's a look at my card today.

As I mentioned I used the Heart & Kisses Bundle from the January-June Mini Catalog as the focal image on my project. I also paired it with the True Love Designer Series Paper and a little piece of Flower & Fields Designer Series Paper (which is a Sale-A-Bration item).

I stamped the sentiment on a White Stitched Circle in Flirty Flamingo Ink. For the lips, I stamped once in Flirty Flamingo and then again in Cherry Cobbler slightly offset just a little. I did that with my Stamparatus. By doing the offset stamping I got to show off both colors on the one image. I did the same thing with the heart.

On the inside of the card, I added a piece of white cardstock and stamped the lips and heart on the inside in Cherry Cobbler that I stamped off once. I finished off the card by adding a few of the Resign Hearts to the front and a double bow made from the twine from the Snail Mail Combo Pack.

As a reminder, Sale-A-Bration, and the new January - June Mini Catalog both start in the morning.
