Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share you my card for this week's Sketch Challenge over at the Spot and my card kicks off my 15 Days of Christmas Promotion as well! Today, I am featuring the Peace & Joy Bundle from the August-December Stampin' Up! Mini Catalog. I paired the Peace & Joy Bundle with the Flowers For Every Season Designer Series Paper to play with this week's sketch.
I thought this would be a fun way to play with this week's sketch challenge! Plus I thought it would be fun to use some of the products from the 2020-2021 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog today as a Christmas Card. The Peace & Joy Bundle includes the Peace & Joy Stamp Set and the Joy Dies. The Peace & Joy Stamp Set allows you to send your warmest Christmas wishes with handmade cards you make. This is a Photopolymer Stamp Set which allows you to line up images perfectly. This set has the words to say what you're feeling. Add any images from your favorite stamp sets or fun designer series paper to finish off your cards. Also part of the Peace & Joy Bundle are the fun layering word dies in the Joy Die Set. Which will allow you to create die-cut words using them. These dies include the words "Joy," "Peace," and "Bright." Use them on handmade cards, scrapbook pages, and other projects. They're perfect for Christmastime but you'll find uses for them all year long as I did with this fun Basket of Blooms Birthday Card here.
I used both the Stamp Set and the matching Joy Dies on my card today. I stamped the word Bright from the Peace & Joy Stamp Set in Just Jade Ink onto a piece of Just Jade Cardstock. I used the outline die to cut out my stamped word. I then took the shadow die and cut it out as well from Just Jade Cardstock for a tone on tone focal image. And what could be a more dramatic focal image than the large Bright! I then stamped the words "merry" & "and" from the stamp set in Poppy Parade Ink onto a scrap of Whisper White! Once the ink had dried I simply cut around the words with my Paper Snips and popped them up on my card with a few Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
Graceful flowers representing each of the four seasons make this paper a versatile, all-year choice. The smaller 6" x 6" (15.2 x 15.2 cm) pieces are ideal for the fronts of handmade cards, for mini scrapbook albums, and as colorful accents. This papercrafting staple is great scrapbook paper, card making paper, and more! I used three different patterns on my Christmas Card today. I picked three patterns that had a very merry and bright feel to them. I love the Cinnamon Cider Striped piece that I used in the center of my card. Then I paired that with the poinsettia piece and the cooler more wintery pine bough design from the Flowers for Every Season Paper pack. By adding small touches of the other two patterns of papers they just pop off the page.

To finish off my card today I added a few Basic Rhinestones to the card front for a little added "brightness" and sparkle. I also added some Just Jade In Color Ribbon around the card front just under the word die cut and tied it into a flat knot.
