Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share a cute little alternative card with you that I shared during my YouTube Live on Friday, October 23, 2020. I also shared in the Live how to put together the two card designs for the Joy to The World October 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit.
This month's kit is a great one and so very festive. I love to make Christmas Cards and I love it when we make Christmas cards with Paper Pumpkin. Because everything is already cut and ready for you in each kit. Plus I get a new stamp set each month that's exclusive to the kit.
The Joy to the World kit in the October 2020 Paper Pumpkin is a special one! It's a global kit with sentiments in English, French, and German. This kit was designed so that you can share the joy of the holidays with friends across the world. So, you say you don't know anyone that lives in another country? For my subscribers I host a monthly Paper Pumpkin Night were we get together on Zoom and put together our kits and I share a few alternative projects with them. Next, I stamped the wreath image again onto some Whisper White cardstock and cut it out using the 2 1/4" Circle Punch. I then used the retired 2 1/2" circle punch to punch out a Brass Foil Circle. You could use the Layering Circle Dies if you don't have the 2 1/2" Circle Punch. I just can not give up my retired circle punches.
After that I added one of the Foil banners from the kit and stamped my sentiment in Just Jade ink on One of the Whisper White banners in the kit. I then added a double bow made from the Cherry Cobbler Linen Thread from the Joy to the World Kit with a Mini Glue Dot. I finished off my card with a few Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels to add a little sparkle.
