Each card features the same stamped image but I changed up the colors and the designer series paper that I used. I used the 2019-2021 In Color Designer Series Paper Pack which has 40 sheets inside (4 each of 2 double sided designs). I used all five of the new in colors on my cards; so I used Purple Posy, Seaside Spray (Front row Left to right), Rococo Rose, and Pretty Peacock (2nd row left to right) and Terracotta Tile (top row). All of these colors are very pretty and just make me smile. I may have one that I originally liked more than the other but I have really came to love them all. Sometimes with In Colors it takes a little while to fall in love with them. This happens to me almost every year. But, this year it didn't take as long.

So are you wondering how I made them; well I have a quick video showing you how I did it along with my coloring and a few tips along the way.

Tips & Tricks:
So once I knew which stamp set I wanted to use and believe me that was no easy task with this years Stamps from the Annual catalog. This has been one of the best catalogs since I've started. There are a ton of great products inside those two little covers.
I knew I wanted to use the 2019-2021 In colors, so I picked the designer series paper that featured them the most, but didn't have designs that were to busy or didn't wouldn't fit with any stamp set. So then I laid out a few of my choices and went from there. When I pulled the New Wonders stamp set and saw the sentiments along with the font and the little images I knew. I just thought that the little fairy holding the pen was perfect for a thank you note. For the video I shared how I made the Pretty Peacock version but all of them are made the exact same way. I just changed up the coloring a little. I used all the same colors but would change the dress to match the designer series paper and ink.
I started out with a 3 3/4 x 5 piece of Whisper White Cardstock and stamped the little fairy in Tuxedo Black ink. I picked this ink because I knew I was going to do a little Stampin' Blend coloring. As long as you use the smaller nib to color this image you are fine. Just don't use the brush end it's way to large to get into the smaller areas of the stamped image. For the Terracotta Tile coloring I used my Stampin' Write marker to do that; but you could totally use dark Calypso Coral because they are so close. That's one of the reasons they didn't make a Stampin' Blend in Terracotta Tile, because they are so close in hue. Here's a little image you can pin to your Pinterest account to remember what colors I used.
This was such a fun stamp set to color and I did color a lot of them. I figured out that if you color one item that's the same color all at one time it goes so much faster. For example everything that had to be colored with the Pretty Peacock Stampin' Blends I colored all of those on each card in a row, then moved on to the next color. And, this made my coloring time so much less than coloring each card all at once. So remember when you have a lot of coloring for mass produced cards assembly line it. Do all of the same coloring at one time then move to the next color and do the same thing and just keep repeating the process. Again this saved so much time.
Here's a closer look at all the cards.
